Jim Owens started flying in the fall of 1996 when he enrolled in the aviation program at Mankato State University. He came to the former Knowlton Flight in 2003 to complete the training for his flight instructor rating. In addition to flight instructing, Jim works part-time for Midwest Connect Airlines. Jim now has more than 600 hours of flight time and recently completed his CFII rating. Jim's favorite fantasy plane is the Grumann Albatross. His favorite real life airplane is the Piper Arrow.
